Yes, it can be used with a bandsaw. However, some bandsaws with very small miter tracks may require using the T-bolts that come with the Thin Rip Gauge or other modifications. 

You can either create a track insert to fit or remove the track insert from your saw’s miter gauge and adapt it to the Thin Rip Gauge.
