The jig is compatible with water stones measuring 180–220 mm long and up to 75 mm wide. If your stones fall within that range, they’ll fit securely in the base.
The base plate itself doesn’t raise, but there is a second set of mounting holes for the blade holder. These allow you to lower the holder to adjust for stone thickness.
The current water stone measures 50 mm in width and can accommodate chisels and plane blades up to 1 ⅞ inches wide. A wider 70 mm model is in development and will be available soon. Stay tuned for updates!
